These events are aimed at informing policymakers, academics, media, and the civil and military bureaucracy about existing and future challenges and opportunities. Timely deliberations on such issues help policymakers assess and draft better response options. Moreover, such academic and policy discussions add value to existing literature and help fill knowledge gaps in critical areas of national security and global politics.
