Research Assistant
Ujala Siddiq Khan is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS), Islamabad. She holds an MPhil degree in Government and Public Policy from the National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad, Pakistan. Additionally, she possesses two Masters degrees in ‘English Literature’ and ‘Economics.’ Currently, she is pursuing online doctoral studies from the University of Malaysia. In the past, she has worked at Quaid-i-Azam University, National University of Modern Languages, Bahria University, NDU, Zion Tech (Brazil), Higher Education Commission, and the Center of Policy and Management. She has presented at various conferences, written 11 research papers and several opinion articles in newspapers. Her research interests include Public Policy, Economics, and Security.
With the global world adapting rapidly to digitalisation, the education sector is also transforming by inculcating various digital practices for making knowledge accessible and consequently bridging the educational access divide between different socioeconomic groups. Governments around the world have created favourable policy environments to facilitate such transformations.
