Professional Experience

Air Commodore Raza Haider (Retd) is Director at the Centre of Aerospace and Security Studies (CASS), Islamabad, where he conducts research with a specialised focus on Emerging Technologies and Aerospace Industry. An accomplished aerospace engineer with an MPhil in Strategic Studies from the National Defense University, Islamabad, he brings three decades of invaluable experience. He played a pivotal role in the development and production of the JF-17 Thunder aircraft, including five years of experience in China dealing with cutting-edge aerospace technologies. He retired as Deputy Chief Project Director JF-17 Program from Pakistan Air Force and was awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz Military on his commendable contributions. Air Commodore Haider is a prolific writer, contributing regularly to various magazines and journals.
