Professional Experience
Air Commodore Abdul Samad is Director Admin and Coord at the Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS), Islamabad. He holds a Masters in War Studies from the National Defence University in Pakistan. In his 26-year career as a pilot of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Commodore Abdul Samad flew Alt-III and Mi-171 helicopters in various roles and operations. He has commanded an operational PAF Squadron and has also served in various command and staff positions including Air Headquarters (AHQ) Operations & Air Intelligence. He has also worked as Chief Project Director, Fort Munro Cadet College and Welfare Complex. The Air Commodore has been conferred with the Imtiazi Sanad.
