Professional Experience
Mr Haris Bilal Malik is a Researcher at the Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS), Islamabad. He holds an MPhil degree in International Relations from the National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad, Pakistan. His area of research is regional and international security. He has published numerous opinion-based commentaries and policy analyses in reputed national dailies and international magazines/blogs in the domain of South Asian Security, with a special focus on nuclear security. He has also co-authored a research paper titled ‘The Evolved Security Dynamics of South Asia: Challenges to Pakistan’s Nuclear Threshold’ published in Insight Turkey (HEC-recognized X-category journal; IF 0.328) in 2020. Previously, he was associated with Islamabad-based institutions including Strategic Vision Institute (SVI), Muslim Youth University (MYU), and the South Asian Strategic Stability Institute (SASSI).
